Impact Levels

Both public and private sector organisations have identified the need for valuable information to be secure. But with such a variety of data out there, there needs to be variety in the security available; dependent on the importance of the information.

While being totally protected, information also needs to remain readily accessible to authorised parties. Organisations need to understand the Data Protection Act, and can receive detailed guidance on this through the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
