Communications Electronics Security Group (CESG)
CESG is the Information Assurance (IA) arm of GCHQ, and the UK government's National Technical Authority for IA; responsible for enabling secure and trusted knowledge sharing to help organisations achieve their business aims.
They provide advice and assistance on the security of communications and electronic data; delivering IA policy, services and advice that government and other customers need to protect vital information services. With extensive experience, CESG is well qualified to give you authoritative advice on assessing current and foreseeable risks.
CESG control the cryptographic key material for impact level 3 and above, and their CESG Assisted Product Service or CAPS is the approval mark given to third party IA suppliers. CAPS approved product meets the CESG requirements for IA.
