 Science Museum London
Toshiba has sponsored the Science Museum in London since 1997 as part of its commitment to innovation and education in the UK. Toshiba's investment has helped create the most sophisticated visitor navigational aid ever installed in a UK museum. A network of hands-on information terminals displays up-to-the-minute details of exhibitions, events and visitor facilities in six languages. These state of the art, touch screen terminals enable visitors to source information about facilities, galleries, exhibitions and events. Information about talks and events are updated automatically throughout the day, providing an up-to-the-minute summary of the activities on offer within the museum. The Science Museum currently welcomes 2.75 million visitors each year and these information terminals have an incredible 1 million hits a month.
